Wireless Broadband contracts

The item below within quotes is from my website [link below]. It is the beginning of an article on 'Broadband' which also covers long-term customers and complaining. Long-term customers, in many areas, seem to get taken for granted and get the short end of the stick! A satisfied, long-term customer should be treated like gold in every case... not just fobbed off with the worst offers and expected to take it lying down. Stand up for your rights. Complain! You'll feel better for it, and if more and more people complain maybe the service industries will realise what they are supposed to do... supply a good service!

"Wireless Broadband
What is available, and which supplier is the best?

A wireless broadband connection to the internet is now the norm in most cases. Wireless / Mobile broadband is the only available option in many cases now with some providers.

The speed provided is of concern to some customers, though not to others, and allowed downloading limits can be a concern as can be reliability of connection.

Full and thorough research should be done before you commit to any one provider to make sure that they offer all the facilities which you expect and will need.

Do remember to check the length of contract and any charges which will be applied if you change supplier, either after the conclusion of the stipulated period - or, horror of horror, before - please read all the small print.

I know it is extremely boring, and they never use one word when a hundred will do, or use short readable sentences when a convoluted paragraph will better confuse you - or, better yet, deter you from reading!

There are an ever increasing number of advertisements on the television for wireless broadband from many companies... they all offer very different packages. Listen carefully to what they have to offer. Check 'the small print'! And check what components of a particular deal will be most useful to you, and in line with your individual requirements."

There is a link to my 'Complaints' page on the 'Broadband' page on Best UK electrical appliances website - which gives advice on complaining by letter, or any other mode of contact.
