Petrol and Diesel Petition... UK
Sorry to bore non UK readers, but this is about an extremely important petition by the Telegraph on the subject of fuel prices and the tax on fuel in the UK. How can our lorry firms, both owners and owner/drivers, be expected to compete with foreign companies who come into the UK and use their cheaper fuel from their own country whilst they are here? The following is a copy of the post I added to http://www.road-use.blogspot.com today. Please, all UK residents, sign the petition by the Telegraph, after all we are all suffering the effects of increased fuel prices. Fuel prices affect all other prices... everything has to be transported, even if only for a few miles. "An email I had today [28th May] from the http://www.petrolprices.com website drew my attention to a petition on the price of fuel in the UK run by the Telegraph. If you visit the Petrol Prices [link above] website, then click on 'Blog' at the top right-hand side you can access their comments and the petition. Whilst you are there on the website you could also sign up for their really useful email service which alerts you to the cheapest fuel in your area.
