Majic Oven Liner
To save yourself the chore of cleaning the bottom of your oven... it is possible to buy a 'Magic Oven Liner' which you put on the base of your oven - as long as the heating element is not in the bottom of the oven. If the heating element IS in that position, you can get round this difficulty by putting the liner on the bottom shelf instead... this is what I do [helps keep that shelf clean too]. The liner is normally black in colour and looks like a coated piece of paper. It is a tough item and can be wiped clean, scrubbed even, in a bowl of hot water and washing up liquid. I have had my liner for some years now, and it works very well. I know they are available through Kleeneze and also through Lakeland [see the Cookware page at Best UK Electrical Appliances]... you could well find them elsewhere too as they are getting more and more popular. |
